Statement of Purpose

Believing that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that no man can come unto the Father except through Him, it is the purpose of Mel LaMar Ministries to proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all who hear this good news might place their faith and trust in Him and be saved unto eternal life. All undertakings of Mel LaMar Ministries, including presentations given by Mel LaMar or other Mel LaMar Ministries employees or representatives, or the training and equipping of Christians for ministry, shall be toward the goal of helping others to find faith in Jesus Christ and/or grow in their personal relationship with Him.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16). We believe that there is one God, co-equal and co-eternal in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19-20).

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, His miracles and in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood; in His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory (I Corinthians 15: 3-4; Acts 1:11, I Peter 2:21, 24; John 3:16).

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Romans 3:21-30; Galatians 4:4-7).

We We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Galatians 5:22-24; I Corinthians 6:19-20).

We We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:24, 28, 29; I Thessalonians 4:13-18).

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ; that although we are many different members, yet we are all part of one Body, the Church, to the praise and honor and glory of God through Jesus Christ.
