I want to express how deeply I appreciate the ministry of Awana and how I praise the Lord for each church and each volunteer who values God's children enough to make the sacrifices it takes to bring this program to them.

My association with Awana has been an answer to my prayers for opportunities for effective ministry. My calling is evangelism, not entertainment, and I find working with the Awana program to be a wonderful blend of the calling, gifts and talents that God has given me, with the goals and needs of the Awana philosophy. Jesus said, "In this case the saying is true, one man sows and another man reaps. I have sent you to reap that for which you have not labored. Others have labored and you have entered in to their labor" (John 4:37-38). I recognize, with each Awana that I do, that many have labored for the lives of these precious little ones, and I am partnering with them to bring their children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I would covet the opportunity to partner with you for the children of your area.
